What should I wear to my appointment?

This will depend on the injury, but in general shorts and/ or a tank top (females) would be recommended. It is also recommend to bring gym shoes.

Is my treatment covered by Alberta Health Care?

Unfortunately, no. We do not have a contract with Alberta Health Care.

Can you direct bill my extended health care providers?

Yes, we can currently direct bill the following providers: Alberta Blue Cross, Blue Cross- ASEBP, Sunlife, Canada Life, Manulife, Standard Life, Chamber of Commerce, Desjardins, Cowan Insurance, Industrial Alliance, Johnson Insurance, and Maximum Insurance, Greenshield, Medavie Blue Cross, The Cooperators, Equitable Life, Claim Secure, Group Source, Group Health, Empire Life, and People Corporation

Do you offer Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) funded treatments?

Unfortunately, no. We do not have a contract with WCB.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to attend Physio or Chiro

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral. Some insurance companies may require a doctor’s note before they will cover the cost of the treatment. You can check with your insurance company prior to your appointment if you are unsure.

What forms of payment do you accept if I don’t have benefits?

If you don't have any extended health care (or your extended health care only pays a portion of the fee) you can pay for treatment via debit or any major credit card.
