The Movement First Approach to Chiro

Modern Chiropractor | Movement First Physio & Chiro

Our DC, Dr. Leah cueing through DNS Diaphragmatic Breathing ☝️

The team at Movement First has a unique approach to Chiropractic care that is focussed on;

  • Getting to the underlying cause of your pain/ injury, rather than just treating the symptom.

  • Longer appointment times with each patient to give your concerns the attention they deserve

  • A variety of treatment techniques (not just adjusting) to provide options for each individual.

  • Collaboration with our Physical Therapy team to provide long lasting results.

Chiropractic care goes beyond treating those experiencing pain — it can be an integral part of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

Chiropractic ADJUSTMENTS

After a thorough history and examination, our chiropractors will discuss the benefits of an adjustment in relation to what brings you into our office that day.

Our immediate main goals for providing an adjustment are to:

  • Increase segmental range of motion

  • increase blood flow

  • decrease subjective pain experience

ADJUNCT THERAPIES

We believe in the power an adjustment can provide. We also love utilizing a multitude of other techniques to facilitate the most positive prognosis possible. These include:

  • Rehabilitation exercises of which we often like to utilize with our physiotherapists to optimize your individual recovery!

  • Soft Tissue Therapy: most predominantly utilizing a glorified pin and stretch technique.

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM): Often called Graston or Guasha.

  • Cupping: More often than not, utilized with dynamic movements

What Our Clients Are Saying

Leah is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. She understands the body and wants to help you perform at your best. She is absolutely the reason I can complete the way I do in strongman.
