Physical Therapist

Hi, I’m Kelsey!

I completed both my Bachelor of Kinesiology and my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta’s Augustana campus in Camrose. I have always loved sports and being active, ask my mom, she used to have to drag me off the playground and soccer field! That love has continued into adulthood, I am always looking to try something new and currently I’m really into yoga, boxing, and golf.

I played competitive ringette for 15 years, over that time I competed in 2 Canadian National Ringette Championships and in the 2011 Canada Winter Games for Team Alberta. Like many of my colleagues my passion for physiotherapy began when I had to get treatment for an injury of my own (it’s a funny story, make sure you ask me about it!). After two years of working with my physiotherapist I knew I wanted to help others in the same way.

I take on a patient centered approach to therapy where I hope to gain a thorough understanding of the individual and their goals for physio. This collaborative approach allows me to create an individualized rehabilitation program tailored to your body, lifestyle, and abilities. I apply a combination of manual therapy and functional exercise to achieve the best possible outcome and give you the tools to prevent other injuries from occurring in the future. With detailed education and an individualized training program, my goal is to teach my clients to better understand their injuries and promote health conscious and active lifestyles.
