My involvement with sports and human movement began with ACAC Soccer for Concordia University in Edmonton. Here I played three years before completing my Bachelors of Physical Education at the University of Alberta in 2011.
My work as a personal trainer at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park ignited my love for human movement and optimizing function. This lead to a three year journey at the University of Western States, where I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters in Science of Sports Medicine (2017).

Since graduating, I have worked with numerous humans - from a wide variety of ages and experiences - one of my most memorable being my time with the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers. These days I much enjoy the weekend warrior, busy parent and classic work - a - holics.

Throughout my career, I’ve found myself most fascinated with faults of the feet as well as breathing and bracing. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) has revolutionized my practice and become a pillar of which I view the human body and the story it’s trying to tell. This means assessing functional movement patterns while also taking into consideration nervous, muscular, lymphatic, skeletal, vascular systems and of course, mental or emotional states or stressors.

On my days off, I’m at my happiest when I’m biking, climbing, running, snowboarding and galavanting the beautiful Canadian Rockies. BUT, kids. Thus, I’ve become happiest walking our beautiful river valley with the dogs who human names, and the human with a dog name. :)
