Hey Edmonton, my name is Michelle, and I am a physical therapist who is here to help you reach your rehab goals and guide you to pain free, functional movement. I am a graduate of the Physical Therapy program from the University of Alberta, and prior to studying in Edmonton I attended University in my hometown of Windsor, Ontario completing a Bachelor of Human Kinetics.

I provide treatment for a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions, to patients of all ages. Whether you have injured yourself during a sport related activity or in your everyday life, I would love to help you determine the root cause of your injury and guide you through your rehab process.

I take particular interest in treating dancers, as I have twenty-seven years of dance training and experience. My love of dance started at the age of three and developed over the years through competitive dancing, teaching and dancing aboard cruise ships professionally. I currently stay active in the Edmonton dance community by teaching adult drop-in classes and taking class myself. My goal is to help dancers manage a current injury, prevent further injury & understand how to create longevity in their dance journey.

My treatment techniques include education, exercise, functional dry needling, and hands on therapy. You will also be provided with a specialized home exercise program to aid in your rehab process. My approach to physiotherapy is similar to that of a dance instructor, where I am here to provide you with advice, knowledge and encouragement! Alongside my guidance, your own commitment to your recovery will be essential to your success.

I am also certified in Clinical Pilates and am passionate about providing this unique service in a rehab setting. I utilize the reformer, tower and mat Pilates equipment in order to provide a graded core exercise program to rehab an injury, enhance performance and improve overall strength/mobility. This type of treatment is a great option for the Edmonton dance community as dance requires such complex choreography and movement patterns.
